It wasn't specified what kind of weapon it was but what was mentioned is a special targeting method and the weapon's powerful warhead. This is the first serious statement made since February when the second summit between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump took place but it hardly yielded positive results. The news about the weapon testing was released just 24 hours after they announced a combat readiness test of the North Korea air force. Kim Jong-un refrained from conducting inspections for five months.
Let me remind you North Korea announced its plans on nuclear disarmament approximately one year ago.
