China’s Lesson to Russia: Hit With Full Force; Fight ‘Em on All Fronts! Econ, Tech and Military!

Agitation and Propaganda.

Each doctor has their own approach. When a problem arises, some grab their scalpel, the others rely on antibiotics. But some trust non-traditional medicine encouraging minimal resistance regardless of the diagnosis.

Alexey Kudrin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber: "In order to achieve our national goals, we must reduce tensions with our key foreign partners. If the sanctions continue to expand, many goals won’t be achieved, for example, technological development, economic growth, and poverty reduction".

But our key foreign partners have repeatedly told us on what terms they're going to reduce tensions.

"Are you stuck, four-eyes? That's just front money. But now, get ready, student. Soon, you'll be wearing a wooden mackintosh. Music will be playing in your house. But you won't hear it".

For comparison, here's the comment of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce regarding the tensions with the same partners... Ministry of Commerce Spokesperson Gao Feng made his statement last Tuesday in response to remarks that attributed China's development to the US investments:

"We never deny that investment from the United States helps China's development but the country's development ultimately relies on its opening-up, reform, and the endeavors of its people".

In his interview to Bloomberg, Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan made it clear that the trade war started by the US only strengthened the Chinese confidence in their economy. Zhong emphasized that China has suffered bullying on more than one occasion throughout its history. Not once did it succumb to intimidation, even with its back against the wall. To substantiate the thesis, Beijing imposed another $60 billion-sanctions against the American LNG-industry and agriculture. However, the most efficient remedy of Doctor Xi was the currency acupuncture. As we know, China is the largest holder of the US debt.

"China has sold $3 billion of sovereign dollar bonds its third such sale in the last 14 years drawing healthy investor demand against a backdrop of global market turmoil and a trade war with the United States. China managed to do that even as markets suffered a global rout on Thursday after Wall Street’s worst losses in eight months".

The Stock Exchange still hasn't recuperated, but that was just the beginning. No one seems to be willing to stop, so bloodletting might follow the acupuncture. At least, both sides treat this scenario seriously. Few are familiar with the July Decrees of President Trump. They set a simple task to conduct a full-scale inspection of industry and science to figure out if they're ready for war. The Pentagon recently finished the inspection and published a 146-page report. The uniformed authors consider Trump's decision to be "historic." Once again, we see whose interests the billionaire-president represents.

"The erosion of American manufacturing over the last two decades threatens to undermine the ability of US manufacturers to meet national security requirements. Today, we rely on single domestic sources for some products and foreign supply chains for others and we face the possibility of not being able to produce specialized components for the military at home".

The partially-classified report elaborates on every detail from semiconductors to cartridges. We should probably read extracts from the report to some Russian experts who talk about decreasing tensions with our key foreign partners even though their peaceful disposition might have a rational kernel. Russia's mentioned only once in the 146-page report. China is mentioned 196 times. 196 times. It becomes clear who is being treated seriously and who isn't.

“One of the Chinese Communist Party’s primary industrial initiatives, titled "Made in China 2025", targets artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, autonomous and new energy vehicles, high-performance medical devices, high-tech ship components and other emerging industries critical to national defense. The Chinese R&D spending is rapidly converging to that of the US and will likely achieve parity sometime in the near future. For example, the Chinese drone manufacturer DJI accounts for 70% of the commercial unmanned aerial system market.”

But what are the authors suggesting? Surprisingly, nothing about decreasing the tensions, quite the contrary: kick the spying Chinese students out of the US universities, shake up the society, bundle it up, tightly integrate diplomacy, propaganda, economy finance, intelligence, justice, and military, tighten their belts and get ready for challenges. And China gives them a reason to be worried.

Take space, for instance.

"It's 2050. The Moon has been colonized by China with its Lunar Palace base growing potatoes, wheat and carrots though residents also need to get used to eating mealworms for protein. Everything is grown and recycled in the robot-built base's white, tubular buildings. Such are China's space ambitions. Later this year, China will launch the Chang'e 4 mission to the dark side of the Moon setting up an experimental lunar base to trial growing potatoes. By 2020, China plans to land on Mars".

At the International Astronautical Congress in Bremen, Yang Hong from the Institute of Manned Space System Engineering under the China Academy of Space Technology, stated that the basic T-shape for the planned Chinese Space Station could be extended to add three more modules which can increase its overall mass to 160-180 tons.

“The space station is expected to be fully operational around 2022 and is set to operate for at least 10 years. In 2024, it will likely become the world's only space station if the International Space Station is retired that year as planned.”

"Inconceivable. It all seems like a marvelous fantasy".

How shall we respond to the technological challenges from the East and West? Of course, we can turn our key foreign partners. We can increase the intensity and frequency of religious services. The Higher School of Economics also suggested we should cancel intramural education and stream all lectures online. An innovation indeed. One university today, the entire country tomorrow.

Yaroslav Kuzminov, Chancellor: "We've decided that in two years we'll replace all lectures with online courses. Each our professor will record and upload an online course. Classic lectures will be canceled because even at the Higher School of Economics, where the lectures are given by researchers, the efficiency of the lectures is rather low".

Alexander Privalov, journalist: "In the 20th century, a person who said, "I don't need no professors, I will learn from books" was considered a fool. Today, a person who praises podcasts that are obviously inferior to books is supposed to be a genius. However, I'm no longer bothered by such matters after Chancellor Kuzminov leaked that the government has created an inter-department workgroup to assign each university one of three levels of accreditation: basic, advanced, and leading. Basic universities will have to replace the majority of their lectures with online courses developed by the leading universities. It signifies the imminent death of higher education as we know it".

The indelible results are already wandering our streets hitting people with chairs. More and more of them lead university departments, wear uniform, judge's robes, and surgeon's scrubs, pilot airplanes, assemble space shuttles, and maintain nuclear reactors.

"October 11, while performing a density check on the generator gas system of Unit 1 of the Rostov NPP, which is currently in scheduled preventive maintenance, three employees of the Volgodonsk branch of Atomenergoremont JSC were injured. According to preliminary data, the workers were cleaning the equipment in the Unit 1 engine room with alcohol, violating safety procedures".

Let's hope the last detail was made up by journalists. Nevertheless, each myth completes the full clinical picture. In this battle against incompetence, sloppiness, weakness, and impotence we can hardly rely on our key foreign partners even if for some reason, they offer us their help.

- That's fine. It'll bake somehow. Here are your pasties. What?! What's that? It's so black. Why are you scrunching?

- You baked it. Now, eat it.
